Reference Letter
Hardham & Hardham constructed my home in Bryanston during 2014 and 2015, and this letter serves as a recommendation of their services.
In any construction project, 3 particular matters stand out as being of the utmost importance:
- Quality of workmanship
- Delivery on time
- Delivery on cost.
Hardham & Hardham, lead by Jonathan Hardham, delivered on all 3 of these criteria.
1. Quality of Workmaship
a. The best indication of the quality of the workmanship is that we had only 4 items (all of which were minor, and of which we were already aware) on our snaglist on the day we moved into our new home.
b. The attention to detail was excellent, and everything was done correctly the first time. Where this was not the case, Jonathan’s superb team and site manager (Justin Wille) picked up the issues and corrected them immediately.
2. Timing
a. Jonathan’s team managed the project according to a tight timeline of deliverables, and we were told what our deadlines were for making the relevant decisions in relation to our build. Jonathan’s team remained realistic and sensible throughout.
b. The clearest indication of the superb project management was that we moved into our home on the targeted occupation date.
3. Cost
a. The costing of the project was detailed and accurate, and, typically, although we ended up spending more than we had budgeted, that was due to us changing our minds on a number of different finishes and additional items over the course of the project.
Overall, if I were to build a home again, I wouldn’t consider employing any company other than Hardham & Hardham to do the job, and I recommend them unreservedly.
